I'm going to keep this brief because, frankly, there are things I can't share publicly.
What I can tell you is that Friday, after 6pm, my phone buzzed. Not a Slack. Not an email. A direct outreach. From the partner. I was in the middle of my Whoop recovery review, which I'll table because that's not the point. The point is that when something sensitive comes up at that level — something that requires a certain kind of judgment, a certain kind of trust — there are a short list of people who get that call. I'll leave it at that.
I've said for a long time that relationships are the real deliverable. Not the deck. Not the framework. The relationships. A lot of people hear that and nod and then go back to optimizing their Slack status. They don't do the work. Friday night, after 6pm, is when you find out who did.
